At Full Motion Chiropractic I only give patients the care they truly need to get out of pain while allowing them the choice to continue care beyond that.  This is the definition of Relief Care, it's based on getting people out of pain and back to their normal lives as quickly as possible without forcing any long-term commitments on them,  and it's a big reason why most of the new patients I see are referrals from my current patients. The fact is that most people initially go to a chiropractor because they are in pain.  People do not typically just decide one day that they want to start getting chiropractic adjustments just for the fun of it.

Chiropractic care is not just about pain relief.  It's about keeping the body healthy.  It's about keeping stress off the nervous system.  At the core, adjustments help to maintain healthy joint functioning and mobility.  This, in turn, keeps adhesions from forming around the muscles and joints, thereby not allowing inflammation to build up deep in the nearby joint spaces which can then impact the nerves and our nervous system.

When we have jobs where we still all day at a computer or do something like repetitive movements/lifting we create these areas in our body that eventually irritate our nervous system and cause pain.  Seeing a chiropractor regularly is the best way to find these problem areas before they can become a problem!  Unless there's been a major trauma, like a car accident, these problem areas are typically slow-building and don't often cause pain until they've been there for a long time, sometimes weeks, months or even years which then can make them more difficult to overcome.  These types of issues can take several trips to the chiropractor initially to get better and once it's been corrected people typically find that going back on a regular schedule that works for them is the best way to keep feeling their best!
